$100 OBO Compaq Presario CQ62

This laptop has problems i guess i am posting this because i know people out there can fix these things or even use them as parts. The computer turns on fine but it don't wanna go to the desktop. I have tried 3 different ways of formatting this computer but it just don't wanna. It freezes all the time before i can even get to the windows recovery screen. I dunno if the hard drive is fried or what. There is a brand new battery in it i bought off amazon a couple weeks ago. Needs to be picked up in Haverhill, MA (no car)email me or text me
